The last 12 months has been a very busy period for our engineering and manufacturing team. Having secured various projects in Latin America late in 2013, we have just completed one of the last stages of the current projects with delivery due at the end of November. This represents a new and exciting stage in the development of The Morse Group and has also resulted in plenty of work for other local businesses who are part of our supply chain.

When dealing with new international customers you are often faced with new challenges, ones which are quite different to those of a domestic nature. The language barrier, technical terms and project expectations were just a few of the areas we had to address. Cultural differences and local bureaucracy also had to be considered.
As part of the project Morse Air Systems spent a considerable amount of time onsite in South America with our customer to gain a full understanding of their needs and any potential issues. We were able to experience firsthand their working environment and by constantly investing in the relationship we were able to achieve great results for both parties. Also by calling on various Australian Government bodies and the relevant consular officials we got access to a tremendous level of support which also contributed to the success of the business relationship.

As with many other Australian based manufacturing businesses, The Morse Group recognised several years ago that the domestic industrial market was evolving and changing and that what we did in the past may not carry fourth in the future. As a direct result of our strategic plan, we have been able to tap into other markets and pursue engineering and manufacturing projects in the international field. The Morse Group has continued to invest in its people and engineering resources.
At Morse Air Systems our preparation makes us well placed to make the most of future opportunities, be it locally or overseas.
