Extraction Fans
Industrial Extraction fans are generally used on process lines or as part of an overall production setup. Extraction fans can involve heat, various chemical compositions, clean ambient air or just steam. Axial industrial fans are commonly used in this application as they can move large volumes of air.
When designing and selecting an industrial extraction fan, careful consideration should be given to what is being extracted and from what process. If any corrosive substances are present in the airstream then a particular fan surface coating may need to be specified. If the concentrations are high, then a particular fan steel or alloy combined with a specific surface treatment may be required. Other aspects such as temperature levels, installation access, service and maintenance should also be allowed for in the specification and design of the extraction industrial fan.
