High Pressure Fans (Radial flow)
These industrial fans are used for high pressure air movement applications such as combustion fans or air knife systems. This high pressure radial flow style industrial fan is characterised by having a relative large diameter to its width. The central inlet to the impeller is also small relative the overall diameter of the impeller. This design enables the industrial fan to achieve high pressures in relation to volume flow.
The high pressure radial flow style of industrial fan is also commonly referred to as a blower fan and can achieve high pressures. The high pressure radial flow style fan will often run at high RPM’s and may require additional noise attenuation due to casing break out noise and higher noise levels at the high pressure radial flow style fan inlet and discharge.
